The Journal of Emerging Investigators is an open-access journal that publishes original research in the biological and physical sciences that is written by middle and high school students. This year, they have highlighted the work of our 2023 Genes in Space finalists. These students worked tirelessly to turn their initial ideas into polished academic papers that span diverse biological topics and represent the top 5 proposals in this year's competition.
