Genes in Space publication featured on cover of prominent academic journal

We are extremely proud to share that ACS Synthetic Biology, the peer reviewed, open-access scientific journal American Chemical Society on Synthetic Biology has featured the recent publication of 2021 Genes in Space winner Selin Kocalar as its cover article. The March 2024 issue represents the first cover that a Genes in Space publication has received, and is a major accomplishment by Selin and the rest of the contributors to this investigation. "Cell-free protein synthesis (CFPS) can deliver medicines and biosensors on-demand, even in low-resource settings.
